Schneider Electric The Netherlands will conduct the automation part for the new waste water treatment plant.
They received order for the supply of the automation part of the new Waste Water Treatment Plant Harnaschpolder, one of the largest plants in Europe, to be built in The Hague area, in The Netherlands.
After winning the order in 2004 for the supply of 28 Power Distribution transformers, Schneider Electric extended the success and received the order for 6 redundant Quantum PLC.
The Network and Communication will be configured following the Transparent Factory concept, Transparent Ready for factories.
The new Waste Water Plant, with a capacity of 1.3 million population equivalent, is the first private built and operate project in the Dutch water management sector.
