Michelin goes for a ride with Schneider Electric
For its new facility in Brazil, "Jacaranda" plant, Michelin trusted Schneider Electric, with a contract for low and medium voltage supply and infrastructures for the whole plant.
"For this turnkey project, we supplied equipment manufactured locally by Schneider Electric Brazil, but we also worked a lot with our contractor, explains Gérard Michel, Schneider Electric International Account Manager. We knew how to give support to our customer, both on the local and international level."
To address global growth from these past 2 years in earthmover tire markets, Michelin keeps expanding its investments to improve its production capacity and therefore best serve all its markets.
Michelin manufactures and sells tires for all kinds of vehicles, publishes maps and guides and operates a number of digital services in more than 170 countries. "Our customer relations are to us a priority, continues Gérard Michel. And we are working with the constant concern of improving ourselves."
