New logo: Groupe Schneider changes its name to Schneider Electric
Schneider has a new logo to express its identity as a world leader in electrical distribution and industrial automation. With the full integration of Merlin Gerin, Modicon, Square D and Telemecanique, and the divestment of Spie Batignolles, the Company is now a strategically focused, worldclass manufacturer of electrical equipment.
The Groupe Schneider name and logo no longer corresponded to who we are. For this reason, we’ll go by the Schneider Electric name starting March 1. The change will make our communication more consistent, as it expresses what we do for the general public. It also corresponds to our identity with customers and suppliers, who have known us as Schneider Electric since May 1996.
The new signature comes with a more powerful logo that is better suited to the world of manufacturing. The signature systematically includes our four international brands—Merlin Gerin, Modicon, Square D and Telemecanique—which provide sustainable support for the development of Schneider awareness.
