Schneider Electric and Infra+ join forces
Schneider Electric has acquired a 20% interest in Infra+ from the founding Nozick and Kibler families. Infra+ is specialized in connection systems and wiring for “Voice, Data and Video” networks. The company is listed on the Second Market of the Paris Bourse.
Founded in 1988, Infra+ leads the French market for LAN wiring systems. It reported sales of EUR 30 million in 1999, with an operating margin of 16%. The company has 80 employees and subsidiaries in Brazil, Italy and Spain.
Under the terms of their agreement, Schneider Electric and Infra+’s founders will file a simplified offer to acquire all outstanding shares held by the public at a price of EUR 60.50 each. The public currently holds 18% of the capital.
This transaction will strengthen Schneider Electric’s position in “Voice, Data and Video” networks. Schneider Electric will be fully involved in defining strategy for the company, which will continue to be managed by Denis Kibler and Jacques Nozick. For Infra+, this strategic partnership will ensure long-term support from a leading international manufacturer.
