Schneider Electric plans to acquire Crouzet-Automatismes from Thomson-CSF
Thomson-CSF and Schneider Electric have announced their intention to examine conditions concerning the acquisiton of Crouzet-Automatismes, a Thomson-CSF subsidiary, to Schneider Electric. Crouzet-Automatismes specialises in the design, production and marketing of automation components.
Employee representative organisations of the companies concerned will be informed and consulted on the planned sale of the company at the end of August/beginning of September.
As announced by Thomson-CSF on 11 May 2000, plans to sell Crouzet-Automatismes is in line with an ongoing strategic review of the Group’s business portfolio. The sale will ensure the development of Crouzet-Automatismes in an international group closer to its line of business, and which provides greater opportunity to benefit from synergies and complementarity of activity.
