Good turnout for Elec 2000
Elec is the must-attend event for the electrical industry in Europe. This year, 140,000 visitors came through the doors, an increase of 17% from the previous show in 1998. The Schneider Electric booth, with its focus on new information and communication technologies, attracted 25,000 visitors, an increase of 25% from 1998. Without a doubt, the launch of final low voltage products was this year’s highlight at the booth. Other popular previewed innovations included the new Okken electrical distribution and control switchboards, the QME system for optimizing electrical networks and a new range of TeSys motor starters.
The next Elec show is scheduled for December 9 -13, 2002.
