A new circuit breaker plant in China
A new circuit breaker plant in China#Schneider Electric is continuing to invest in China with the construction of a new plant near Tianjin. Built in response to strong growth in low voltage demand, the facility will manufacture Anjia circuit breakers for local distribution. It took nine months to build at a cost Euro 4.88 million and will be inaugurated in April.
The plant, which will employ 500 people, consists of a 6,600-square-meter main building on a 24,500-square-meter site. It is located in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), which is home to a number of international companies, including Motorola.
