Schneider Electric Foundation partners Agir Ensemble
On March 20, around 1,000 students from different French schools and universities took part in the first Agir Ensemble meeting, held at the Hautes Etudes Commerciales business school. The project is a joint initiative of large companies such as CCF, Unilever, Carrefour, Air France and Schneider Electric, and NGOs such as ATD Quart Monde, Fondation de France, Action contre la Faim, Uniscité, Chaîne de l’Espoir and Ingénieurs sans Frontières.
The companies will finance internships and community-based assignments with NGOs and mentor the students involved. In the process, they will create an attractive bridge between the volunteer community and the world of business, providing experience that reconciles the search for meaning and the need for professional training.
The Schneider Electric Youth Opportunities Foundation will fund four internships, giving us an opportunity to offer associations a different kind of support and to enhance our image with schools and students.
