Crouzet Automatismes, Schneider Electric’s subsidiary specialized in the manufacture of electronic components for automated devices (210 million euros), has chosen the Bourguébus site in the Caen region, France, to establish its world R&D center.
This center will open its doors to 30 employees beginning in September. A local software development sub-contract should generate another 20 jobs. After acquiring Crouzet Automatismes in 2001, Schneider Electric decided to group the nano-automation R&D at a single site.
