Application Architecture, Senior Principal Architect

• As a System architect, with strong understanding of standards and customer needs, you will create the functional and technical architectures of our new offers
• You will lead future innovation offers’ incubation
• You will drive the early definition of new products and platforms, by bringing your multi-discipline talent to assess the feasibility, propose architectures and technologies
• You will collaborate with teams from other lines of business or external partners to propose the optimum architectures
• You will drive an Agile execution group to explore, test and early validate concepts, through demos with customers internal/external
• You will propose and size a road map of sub-projects to feed regularly the delivery pipe
• You will support the project team during the development with your expertise of SW functions (Protection and Control) for protection relays based on well understanding of marketing requirements and user applications.
• You will identify the key competencies required and participate in the R&D team evolution

Requirements:

• Rich knowledge of electrical power system and protection.
• Good knowledge of developing embedded SW in RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, QNX, etc.)
• Strong competency of programming with SW languages (C, C++, C#, Java, and etc).
• Able to drive technical developments from scratch
• Strong ability to specify complex systems
• Previous experience developing Protection Relay will be a strong added value
• Knowledge of System Engineering principles and rules
• Good English skills in reading and writing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
• Possitive, self-disciplined, self-motivated.

Work Experience and education Recommendations:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ year experience working in complex embedded software and hardware development projects
