Drive Firmware Senior Test Engineer

Job Title: Drive Firmware Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

1.       To follow up department working process

2.       To participate or lead Drive verification workshops upon project requirements, set up test environment, execute test case, and compete the project on schedule

3.       To Report and follow up product defects, ensure the product quality.

4.       To provide related document such as test plan, test case, defect analysis report.

5.       To maintain and improve Drive auto test platforms

6.       To design and execute Drive Firmware test scripts.

7.       To Communication and Support Local/Overseas teams in daily work

Requirements:

1.      Variable Speed Drive Design/Application experiences

a.       Understand Electrical Drive control principles and functions usage

b.       Have experience in the development/testing/use of automation products such as Schneider/ABB/Siemens… Electrical Drive, PLC/controller

c.       Master how to use PLC programing language (ST/IL/FBD/LD/SFC) to develop Drive applications (Warter pump, Air compressor, HVAC …)

d.       Understand Electrical Drive control principles and functions usage

e.       Know how to use Fieldbus analysis tools (Modbus Poll, Wireshark, etc.) to diagnose Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET messages

f.        Read/design/Maintain Electrical Drive schematic diagram and terminal wiring diagram

2.      Variable Speed Drive Testing knowledge

a.       Have experience in the usage of the test tools and methods (e.g. tools (., Robot Framework/LabVIEW/Test Complete) of automated testing and Black box testing

b.       Be Familiar with software engineering theory, Understand the entire process of Software/Firmware Requirements/development/test/delivery/maintenance

c.       Master at least one programming language Python/C/C#/Java/TCL and be proficient in the development of automated test scripts

d.       Experience in using source code version control management such as Git, GitHub, Perforce or SVN

e.       Be able to use popular test plan and test case management tools (TestLink), /bug/Requirements management tools (Jira),, Test Link, etc..)

f.        Strong hands-on ability to build automation test platform (incl. automated test software and automation devices)

3.       Others

a.       Good English and communication skill

b.       Understand Agile Development, CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment) and DevOps

c.       Self-study and problem analysis ability

Nice to have:

o   Experience in Drive Firmware simulation test via SIL, HIL

o   Experience in Agile Development, CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment) and DevOps

o   Experience in Digital technologies represented by Cloud computing, Big data, IoT (Internet of Things), and AI (artificial intelligence)
