Job Title: Sr. Power Electronics Engineer

1. JOB OVERVIEW

As a Sr. Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing a safety, reliable Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Lead the power electronics design to ensure the right quality /cost level of technical deliverables at each project development phase, establish new technique and process

2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

ü  Design and develop power electronic hardware for UPS systems, including power supply circuits, inverters, rectifiers, chargers, etc.

ü  Conduct circuit design and schematic drawing for power electronic hardware based on specifications and requirements.

ü  Responsible for the selection and evaluation of power electronic components and devices to ensure they meet product requirements.

ü  Perform analog and digital simulations of power electronic hardware to verify the correctness and performance of the design.

ü  Develop and execute test plans and verification methods for power electronic hardware, conducting product performance and reliability testing.

ü  Assist software engineers with hardware and software integration testing and resolve hardware-related issues.

ü  Lead UPS system analysis, hardware technical theme selection and detail design.

ü  Identify and solve highly complex problem or specific issue during development phase

ü  Documentation major in system design theme, product specs definition etc

ü  Help build related expertise in power electronic field inside the organization

ü  Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance the team's technical level and project management capabilities

3. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUD

ü  Bachelor's degree or higher in power  electronics , electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.

4. WORK EXPEREINCE

ü  A minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development, particularly in the field of UPS or related power supply products.

ü  Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, with a solid foundation in power electronics theory.

ü  Familiarity with the application requirements and relevant standards of UPS systems (performance, testing, safety, EMC).

5. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

ü  Familiar with UPS application requirements and relevant standards (performance, testing, safety, EMC).

ü  Strong knowledge in analog and digital electronic design.

ü  Proficient in the calculation and sizing of power converter components, including magnetic components.

ü  Extensive experience in power loss calculation and thermal design.

ü  Familiar with PCB layout rules and PCBA design constraints.

ü  Knowledge of converter performance definition and verification plans.

ü  Strong skills in converter modeling and simulation.

ü  Effective report writing and communication skills.

ü  Experience in technical product/range architecture.

ü  Understanding of multi-technology optimization.
