League Marketing Lead

The League Marketing Leader is the voice of market for each League or range - they are the Customer / Application representative in the League / range.
They are accountable for delivery of the League's mission in the market, including data consolidation, market analysis, marketing & strategic support etc.
League Marketing Leaders collaborate with Marketing Leaders from other Leagues / LOB's to ensure alignment on roadmap & needs etc.
1 Bring market intelligence to the League (competition, trends, market evolution), be an expert in market, application and technology at the League or range level
- Anticipate market dynamics & Innovations to enable necessary OTMs
- Lead the competition benchmarking and keep the team updated with latest competitive moves
- Consolidate AMR (Annual Marketing Report)
- Participate to critical events (conferences & fairs) to gather information on what is new in the market
- Co-represent to IEC meetings with R&D to synchronize offer evolution in line with standards
2 Bring expertise/be the expert to support the League / Squads in identifying value drivers and defining UVPs (Unique Value Proposals) of different offers
- Bring expertise and recommendations to Product Owners which help them define value propositions and priorities
- Challenge Product Owners on the evolution of backlog and also defend the backlog with countries as & when needed
- Help Product Owners with trade offs and defining minimum viable product
- Occasionally participate in sprint reviews, provide necessary recommendations and feedback when needed
- Be the expert of Marketing processes (tools, best practice..) to support PO's with marketing activity (as needed)
- By delegation of the PO, build Marketing assets in collaboration with Marcoms
- Support and ensure consistency on the requirements across the range (covering multiple squads)
3 Support zones, remove critical roadblocks which prevent business continuity and manage business consolidation at League level
- Participate in periodic reviews and committee meetings with Zones - help mobilize required support for the business
- Support the targeted countries in framing and defining the right strategy for current / new offers
- Help unblock critical roadblocks by challenging / coordinating with Product Owners
- Support launch leaders in facilitating and getting effective feedback from customer demos
- Consolidate the business view (Sales /Order /Growth Margin) at League Level
4 Build a strong network & collaborate across BUs & Leagues to have a common customer story
- Work closely with other League Marketers to align on strategy and bring this view to the PO
- Be the single point of contact for cross BU's to have one common story for Segment /Personas.
- Bring best practices from other BU's (Go to Market, License model etc..)
- Work closely with ESX team and support the deployment of Ecostruxure strategy at League Level
- Organize seminars / discussions with Segments to share best practices and understand the evolving needs of Segments
- Work closely with Services to define the right strategy /delivery model for service ready products
- Be the SPOC to consolidate all Marketing requests at League level
5 Support the League strategy & portfolio management, consolidate the roadmap
- Support League Strategy
- Product Platforming, Positioning ,
- Digital strategy for segments (utility, datacenters, renewables..)
- Consolidate the offer roadmap
- Support in management of portfolio at League level
