Project Industrialization Leader (PIL)

SUMMARY OF JOB:

Work as project industrialization leader to create a contact window RD team and factory, implement the new product transferring to factory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work as the contact window for project between RD team and Factory, communicate/ work Closely with factory, ODM or OEM supplier, DSC team etc to improve the project delivery efficiency
• Work with project manager, project design lead and factory team to make the prototype building plan
• Lead the prototype builds and summary/record the process issues at Factory, Track the process issues during manufacturing build
• Work with other functions such as RD and Factory, QA engineer, to figure out solutions and make necessary update on the product line. Get the Manufacturing Report from factory.
• Set the MLO target for project and lead the product MLO management, including Capturing/Tracking/ Maintaining Product Cost, comparing with the goal and figuring out the action plan if any deviation
• Consolidate project cost (machinery & tools) and Tracking the Capex Status
• Assess industrialization risks (factory, manufacturing, process quality, DSC etc.) and evaluate the deviation caused by industrialization, factory, build, process quality, DSC shipping etc., get solution to mitigate critical Industrialization risks

• Work with PQL and factory team on the Product Process quality goal setting, such as FPY identificaiton of the new product
• Work with factory team to make factory resource plan and cost. Assist the project manager to evaluate the project process/manufacturing risk and make the mitigation plan accordingly
• Work on the MEI and Track WI or SOP status of factory
• Complete and coordinate the factory team to complete the Project Development deliverable per project/product development process
• Participation in creating, reviewing, and upgrading cost and quality based on data from the field
• Participating in the regular meeting with global project team (RD, Factory, DC etc.) as required
• Other Tasks Per Project/Product/Team Requirement

EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:

• 5+ Years Industrialization Working experience on Mechanical, Cooling or Similar products

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED:

• Expert on the product development life cycle, Lead NPD Process, be Fimaliar with Vendor Qualification and Vendor Development
• Be Familiar with new project development process and tools: PMP/ PEP/ OTM/ OEM/ ODM; PPEP, CQCS,CQCP, PQR etc.; be familiar with the FEMEA (AFEMEA, DFEMEA,PFEMEA,ETC.), DFM,DFA,DFC, FTA etc.
• Be Fimaliar with Funciton/Key Component of Cooling Product and the Qualification Process and Requirement is Must
• Expert on the Cooling Product Assembly, Good Understanding on Testing of the Cooling Product.
• Be Fimaliar with Manufacturing Process of Sheetmetal, Piping, Wiring, EE Box etc., Resovle the Manufacturing Issue Independently by FTA
• Be a Result Oriented team player. Work as the self-motivated Owner/Leader Between RD and Factory/Supply Chain
• Skillful on the Cross Function / Cross Culture Coordination/ Communication
• A professional, proactive attitude with good interpersonal skills, Especially on the Cross-culture Communication
• Good team work and excellent capabilities to coordinate the work in different organization and culture.
• Fluent in Oral and Written English

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

• Good knowledge of HVAC technology, suppliers and manufacturers. Familiar with computer room AC Product, data center cooling solutaitons and cooling Component
• Be Familiar with the Design Tools, such as PDM, PLM, Solidworks, Solidedge, Croe4 etc.

TRAVEL:

• 25% Oversea / Demotric Travelling is must

EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrializaiton, E&E, Automation, etc.), or Above.
