Responsibilities/Tasks Strategy: · Perform needs analysis for different Schneider entities and segment the commodity needs. · Perform in the geographic zone market analysis / intelligence and identification of market trends that could affect the pricing and supply · Identify and propose strategic suppliers for the geographic zones/BUsas per needs segmentation. · Contribute to the development and deployment of the global cost models, scoring · models, price indexes etc. Execution: · Directly manage some strategic suppliers and get involved in global negotiations with these suppliers. · Support other purchasers (Regional) in their negotiations. · Plan business reviews with strategic suppliers & assign the task to the respective supplier leaders in the zone. · Deploy supplier framework agreements with strategic suppliers · Propose evolution of the Supplier Orientation Chart based on the Evolution of the Commodity Strategy. · Lead qualification process for any new supplier linked to commodity Performance monitoring: · Track the monthly Performance for the suppliers in his/her geographic zone (Quality, Service, Productivity, target Productivity to be set). · Follow up of the APOP implementation and others improvement actions · Track the supplier concentration ratio for the commodity · Drive innovations & productivity pipeline in his/her zone |
