The power supply BMXCPS4002 is smart and embeds a secondary board allowing to gather advanced diagnostics that can be read by the M580 CPUs. The Predictive Maintenance Library contains function blocks that enable to retrieve information logged inside the power supply: - Global status of the pair of power supplies - Uptime durations and number of power cycles - Internal temperature - Total energy spend - Voltage thresholds monitoring (electrical grid quality) - Remaining life time estimation All these smart information allow the user to predict when it is time to replace the power supply before it fails.
