EHS Manager

·       provides environmental, health, safety, energy management and sustainability leadership to AVXP plant operations.  Success is defined through the attainment and continual improvement of metrics that are defined by the plant and GSC China.

·       Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative leadership to ensure compliance with EHS regulations，ISO management system and SE EHSA requirements.

·       Develops and nurtures a partnership with and is a key advisor to leadership, engineers and front-line staff within Plant. Directly or indirectly provides information and tools to allow AVXP plant personnel to drive EHS excellence every day;

·       Set up, and trains engineers and operators to embed best EHS practices in day to day operations, conduct workplace inspections participate in EHS sponsored initiatives, drives continuous improvement using tools such as S.A.F.E First and SBO campaign.

·       Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification, maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data. 

·       Manages chemical safety in the workplace. Manages waste streams with industry-specific knowledge of hazardous waste disposal and transportation regulations and requirements;

·       Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective action plans.

·       Analyzes data and reports trends, recommends and supports risk-reduction plans and corrective and preventive actions;

·         Bachelor degree or above with environment-related major

·         At least 8-year relevant experience in multinational companies

·         Solid knowledge on the topics of environmental sustainability, safety, healthy etc.

·         Good command of English verbal and written skills

·         Good leadership, team spirit and ability to work under high pressure
